This is The Great Record Hunt.

Each episode would profile a new record store in a different state and town, revealing its history. The host will introduce the setting, giving a few little known facts and lead the viewer through each segment. Then we focus in on one clerk who would point out a few local bands we should know about. We meet the bands and they perform live, either in their practice space or possibly the store itself. The DIY vinyl producers might be a kid working out of his bedroom, or a father juggling a full time job that helps support his true love for his independent record label. Vinyl has ample opportunity to not only produce great music but also some intriguing stories from a wide variety of people. Anyone who owns or works in a record store, or has a small time label isn’t in it for the money, and this show will focus on what drives them.
